  • How to register Free iCarePlus for iPhone

    All iPhone purchases include Free iCare Plus for iPhone, giving you an additional 1 year warranty and accidental damage cover. All you need to do is register here within 14 days of your iPhone purchase. Once registered, you will receive an email with your iCare Warranty confirmation details. Please keep this email on hand in the event you need to make any warranty claims.

  • How to register paid for iCare

    We've worked to make this as easy as possible for you. We automatically register all iCare products for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch where it is purchased at the same time as your new product. After you've bought your new product, we will send you an email confirming the registration of the iCare product. Please keep this email on hand in the event you need to make any claims.

    For Mac purchases, you will need to register the iCare yourself. You can do this simply by filling in the detail on the form https://i-care.co.za. Once done, we will send you an email confirming the registration of the iCare product. Please keep this email on hand in the event you need to make any claims.

  • How to claim paid for iCare

    Should anything happen to your product within the period which iCare covers you, you will need to book an appointment at your closest iStore or online to have your product reviewed. Please remember to include your iCare reference number when you make the booking.

  • How does the iCare Subscription product work?

    You can buy coverage on a monthly plan that will auto-renew until cancelled.
    You can purchase an extension warranty for your iPhone or new iCare subscription products for your Mac and iPad.
    You may only purchase 1 subscription product per device, at a time.

  • How do I activate my iCare Subscription?

    If you purchase your Mac or iPad online, the iCare Subscription products will be displayed as an add-on option when configuring your device. Simply click to add it to your cart, as part of your order process. If you purchase the device in-store, you can find the iCare Subscriptions under iCare warranty in the Support section of the website - www.istore.co.za. Remember to purchase and register your iCare subscription on the iStore website within 14 days of purchasing the device. Keep the confirmation and original sales receipts as proof of purchase, as you will be required to verify your device details to fulfil the subscription purchase.
    The iPhone warranty extension product will only be available to iPhone customers who have an existing iCare Plus (24 month) warranty in place and will be given the opportunity to purchase the warranty extension subscription upon expiry of their iCare Plus product.

  • Who qualifies for iCare Subscription?

    Anyone who purchases a new Mac or iPad, or has registered for the Free iCare for iPhone at an iStore qualifies to purchase an iCare subscription product.

  • Can I activate iCare Subscription for a Pre-owned iStore purchase?

    No, iCare subscriptions are not available for Preowned devices purchased through the Preowned iStore.

  • How do I activate my iCare warranty extension subscription for iPhone?

    To activate this product you will need to have an active iCarePlus product in place for your iPhone. You will be given the opportunity to purchase the warranty extension subscription once your current iCare Plus is close to expiry. You will need to undergo an in-store assessment of your device in order to qualify for this product.

  • When will my iCare Subscription payment be deducted from my bank account?

    The payment for your iCare subscription will be deducted on the day you purchase the subscription for your new devices such as Mac and iPad. If you have the Free iCare for iPhone, the payment will be deducted after your 24 month period ends and your subscription is activated.

  • What is the refund policy?

    iStore is committed to promptly refunding iCare subscriptions within 14 days from the date the customer receives the new iCare subscription invoice. The refund will be issued based on the original payment method used for the purchase of the products.

    Refund Processing Time: PayU Refunds may take up to 14 days to reflect back in the account from which the payment was made.

    Refund Eligibility: You are eligible for a refund for your iCare subscription only if the cancellation is requested within 14 days of your most recent billed invoice.

  • How do I cancel my iCare subscription?

    Log in to your web iStore profile, go to My Account, and under My Account, you will find My Subscriptions on the left-side navigation bar. Open My Subscriptions, locate the iCare Subscription, and select the option to request cancellation, or you can email us at icare@istore.co.za to cancel your subscription.

  • Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

    Yes, you can cancel the product at any stage, and the subscription will be cancelled on the day of your next billing.

  • Can I make further claims after cancelling the policy?

    No, once you have cancelled the policy, no further claims will be accepted for this service.

  • Can iStore change the pricing of the subscription?

    iStore retains the right to update the pricing based on significant fluctuations in economic indicators such as inflation and foreign exchange.

  • Will there be any service fees for claim instances?

    Yes, there will be a once-off service fee applicable for all claim instances, as per the provided schedule.

  • Does the subscription cover liquid damage?

    No, the subscription does not cover any liquid damages.

  • Will my subscription renew automatically?

    Yes, your subscription will be auto-renewed annually or until cancelled.
